Rarely Alec takes this to the stage:
solo, body painted in silver and working the machines. A huge contrast to his rock show, musically and visually.
“CD2……..” explores a pure electronic milieu and again breaches the limits of the movement so far. It takes the form of a journey, initially lulling the listener with more restful sounds but quickly introducing more tangential ideas. These build as the album moves on until peaking with Alec’s Ladder, a combination of revolutionary sounds and spatial effects which disorientate the mind before leading the listener back to the starting point of the opening track 2641998.
